Aikido is a highly effective martial art and is practiced in many different countries around the world. With its roots based in the Japanese fighting arts of Jujitsu and mastery of the sword and spear, Aikido's combination of throws and pins, make it leading form of self defence.

Taught to police forces throughout the world, Aikido is also one of the few martial arts that deals with multiple attackers and does not rely on physical strength to overcome opponants. This makes it an ideal choice of martial art for women, men and children alike.

Regular classes run each week unless notified on the website and social media. They take place every Wednesday with a junior class 6.00pm - 7.00pm followed by a senior class running from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and a senior class on Thursdays, 7.00pm - 9.00pm
